Born in U.S. soil, each gourd matures naturally and dries for months before reaching the workshop.
Only the Exceptional make it through.
Only a few farmers still grow gourds these days, and the harvests are small.
Yet each piece is still carefully evaluated by hand, and most are rejected. Only the right form and quality ones are chosen.
Due to this, fewer than 700 gourds are accepted in a year, and fewer than 400 lamps are made.

Each lamp is drilled by hand with extreme control and patience. The process leaves no room for shortcuts, no room for mistakes.
Lamps are not created this way. It’s just too hard.

This process is demanding, slow, and difficult to master. Many who attempt it give up early — not because it’s unknown, but because it requires patience and precision at every step.
After 12 years of refinement, the process has evolved into something consistent, controlled, and highly specialized.
